Russell is one of our founding directors, having established the firm over 25 years ago. Russell has a very broad knowledge of business, with particular expertise and interest in business and trust structures, taxation, profit building and trans-Tasman business, structures and taxation. Russell is a member of both New Zealand and Australian Institutes of Chartered Accountants. 
John joined Rodgers & Co in 2009, coming from a position as Senior Accountant in another CA firm. He became a Director of Rodgers & Co from 1 April 2010. He has been a member of the NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants since 2006. He has a very broad knowledge of business and deals with all entities such as trusts, partnerships and companies. His areas of interest include business and trans-Tasman structures. When he is away from the office he enjoys spending time with his young family, playing sport and pottering around on his lifestyle block. 
Yvette Tucker - Senior Accountant Yvette is a Senior Accountant with a BCom in Accounting. She works primarily for Russell on company, partnership and sole trader accounts, preparing end of year financial statements, tax and GST returns. In her spare time Yvette enjoys swimming, running, movies and cross-stitch. 
Rachel Liddell - Client Manager Rachel is a member of the NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants, with 15 years of experience in chartered accountancy. She enjoys reading, movies, and eating out, and has entered a few triathlons. She spends a lot of time acting as a taxi service for her three girls, especially during the hockey season. 
Michelle has a NZ Diploma in Business, and works primarily for Russell and John preparing end of year financial statements, tax and GST returns. She has 10 years of experience in the industry. Michelle is married with 2 children, and lives in Leeston after relocating from Tauranga in 2008. She has a busy home life, attempting to manage that work-life balance, but is still able to fit in walking, reading, watching movies, and the odd glass of wine. 
Gerry emigrated with her family from Holland in 1987, and is currently based in Nelson, working remotely as a contractor for Rodgers & Co. Gerry processes annual accounts, GST returns, FBT and tax returns and has a broad knowledge of Tax, Family Support, Student Allowance, Child Support, ACC and farm accounting. 
Robyn joined Rodgers & Co in September 2008 and now works primarily for Russell on company, partnership and sole trader accounts. She is involved in preparing end of year financial statements, tax returns and GST returns. She also deals with company administration including filing of liquidations, annual returns and alterations to Companies Office records. Prior to joining Rodgers & Co, Robyn worked as a trust accountant to a Christchurch law firm as well as an accounts manager in an investment firm. Robyn is currently studying part time towards her Diploma of Accounting and enjoys spending time with her two sons and her dog Max and putting her feet up with a good pinot noir! |
